"Our stay at this quaint, nostalgic motel was without a doubt exhilarating, relaxing, and comfortable. Upon entering the room, vintage music, from a vintage style replica gave us the feeling of stepping back in time complimented by modern comforts such as the flat panel television. Ambiance was but only one attribute. The comfort of the room (bed), conversation from the owners, and an obvious love for a true historical monument made our stay worthwhile."

"The Motel Safari is a wonderful experience! The Owner/Manager of the motel showed me to the room, turned on the lights, pointed out the room amenities and told me to let them know if I needed anything. What fabulous customer service! The room was extremely clean, smelled nice, was very quiet and had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! For a historic property it is really well maintained with room decor staying in line with the retro theme of Route 66. What a nice oasis in the dry heat of New Mexico! Tucumcari is a small town but I would absolutely make this motel and town my overnight stop when road tripping through New Mexico!"

"My family went there as a weekend trip found this place and it looked great. When we arrived the owners were very friendly and gracious. The room reminded me of rooms of hotels from my childhood with a modern update. Will go there again just for the hotel."
